This was a good win for the Celts who showed a lot of improvement in their bowling (fewer wides and no balls) and in the batting, especially calling and running between wickets. After winning the toss, we bowled first. Sanchay, Hari and Sharaav were the pick of the bowlers, though we need to be more aware in the field - getting throws in straight away when the ball is fielded, backing up the bowler or keeper when the ball comes in, walking in when the bowler is running in.
255 wasn't an easy target to chase down but we actually scored the runs with an over to spare (a run out on the last ball made the scoreline look closer than it was), with everyone pitching in. It was great to see how much the calling and running between the wickets has improved - Louis, Hari and Isaac stood out - and this was critical to our win. There is still room for improvement, especially backing up at the non-striker's end and learning to run the bat in when approaching the crease, but this will come with more experience. Overall, however, this was a good result and performance.
