LPCC U15 Boys vs Bidborough 27th June 2021
Bidborough won by 6 wickets
On a damp morning Bidborough won the toss and elected to field.
Nat and Daniel opened the batting for LPCC and some good early bowling restricted opportunities to score runs. After Daniel was out, Ollie came in and was able to start accelerating the scoring. This also allowed Nat to score more freely and they put on a partnership of 50 before Nat was bowled for 14. Olly retired on 35 shortly after Freddy then came in and scored quickly (33 not out) and was well supported by Joe (4 not out). After our 20 overs LPCC finished on a score of 108 for 3.
Omar and Freddy opened the bowling and were well supported by Olly, Rafi and Joe, but it wasn't until Max came on to bowl in the 9th over that we took our first wicket. After that, wickets fell at regular intervals with Olly, Rueben and Freddy each taking a wicket. Despite some good fielding throughout , Bidborough reached their target with a couple of overs to spare.
