TWCC won the toss and elected to bat, on a very hot morning. Joe and Terry opened the bowling, and Terry took an early wicket, with a catch by Rafi. Further wickets came from Rafi and Luke, along with a good show of concentration and focus in the field, with Joe setting the standard. However, TWCC scored runs quickly, and achieved 215 from their 25 overs.
Undaunted by the large total, LPCC batted with great determination in return, most notably in the partnership between Terry and Jack, which lasted for 10 overs and produced a partnership of 24 runs. Once Terry was out Joe came in and batted confidently to 15, including the only 6 of the innings. LPCC scored 134 for 4 from their 25 overs.
A good team performance. Thanks to Terry for being captain, and to Oli (Luke's Dad) for umpiring and motivating the team
