LPCC U15s

For the first time since 2015 LPCC have played an U15s match and it was a great game. LPCC came off second best against a strong Bidborough team, but all players agreed that they enjoyed the experience. We had great contributions from all players, who played with great spirit and made the opposition work hard for their victory.
Ashwin Anand and Ed Prescott were our main run scorers and five of our bowlers took wickets (see scorecard tab). Dishan kept the runs down in his 4 overs as well as a wicket and Noah Csillag claimed two late wickets for 12 in 2 overs. Tom Watkins maintained a strong presence as wicket keeper, the side being well captained by Ed Prescott.
Unfortunately though Bidborough had two batsmen who passed the retirement limit of 35 runs, one of whom came back at the end as we had taken all the other wicket and they had one bowler who claimed 5 wickets in his 4 overs for only 19 runs.
