This was our most disciplined display of the season. When we bowled there were very few no balls or wides and everyone kept it tight. In the field, we cut down on the overthrows, with fielders starting to realise that if the batsman has already made his ground there is no point hurling the ball like a rocket at the bowler or wicket keeper. At the crease, we punished the bad balls and treated the good ones with respect. There was only one run out and that was touch-and-go.
Special mentions to Monty Bailey who was on a hat-trick, Oscar who took the keeping gloves and Austin Bandler who has come in and has shown he can play with boys two years older than him.
Next game is Borderers who will be tougher so we need to continue with these good habits
