Another good performance earlier in the month made it 3 wins from 4 this season and also saw Nithish have his first experience of red ball cricket and scores his first runs. The bowling is starting to look much better (lot fewer wides and no balls) and the calling when batting has improved immeasurably. Alertness in the field could be better and other sides will eke out more runs if we don't look a bit more lively but definitely heading in the right direction overall. Apologies for the team rotation but owing to a communication mix-up we had an extra player. Thanks also to Caiden for doing the gentlemanly thing and fielding for the opposition when one of their players went off with a nosebleed.
We are currently placed a very respectable 3rd (of 11) on the U11 TW DIVISION league table and with another 5 matches to go, it’s all still to play for. Next up Bells Yew Green on Thursday June 20.
